For those subscribers interested in the ongoing armed conflict in Ethiopia’s Tigray state, PolGeoNow still doesn’t have our own map of control, but on our free site we’re again featuring the relevant work of our colleague Daniel from Passport Party, who follows similar methodological standards to our own.

Since it’s currently almost impossible to map detailed territorial control in this conflict, Daniel’s new map instead focuses on a related theme: how de facto borders – at both the regional and national level – have changed during the war.
